Precise replacement of an intercooler in the combined cycle power plant of KMW AG
ETABO professionally replaces a tube bundle in the heat exchanger of the KMW combined cycle power plant – on schedule, precisely and with maximum tightness.
ETABO was commissioned to supply and replace a tube bundle on an intercooler at KMW AG's Power Plant 2. The new tube bundle, consisting of 580 tubes in 29 rows, was precisely rolled into the tube sheet to ensure a reliable seal. Successful pressure tests confirmed its functionality, and the water chambers were subsequently coated with a corrosion-resistant finish. Thanks to meticulous planning, precise execution, and dedicated teamwork, the project was completed safely, reliably, and on schedule.
