ETABO supplies district heating pipeline for EnBW “Fuel Switch” project in Altbach/Deizisau
On schedule, efficient, innovative: ETABO connects existing buildings and combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) plant at the EnBW site in Altbach/Deizisau with a new district heating pipeline.
As part of EnBW project "Fuel Switch" in Altbach/Deizisau, a new gas and steam turbine plant will replace two coal-fired power plant units – a significant step towards decarbonization. ETABO handled the planning, delivery, installation, and commissioning of the new district heating pipeline, successfully completing the project on schedule. Despite limited space and the need to cross a factory road, the ETABO team developed an innovative solution using a specially designed pipe bridge. This is a prime example of engineering expertise and a commitment to a sustainable energy future.
