Machines put to the test: Equipment inspection at rose plastic headquarters
rose plastic is a leading manufacturer of plastic packaging. Since 2021, Piepenbrock has been providing DGUV V3 testing services for electrical systems and equipment at the company's headquarters in Hergensweiler.
Whether for drilling tools, gears, sporting goods, or toys, rose plastic's product portfolio includes more than 4,000 packaging solutions made from a variety of materials, colors, dimensions, and lengths, including sleeves, boxes, and cases. In addition to product protection and a perfect fit, the company designs its packaging for robust construction and maximum functionality. Manufacturers of industrial components, suppliers to hardware stores and specialist tool retailers, as well as brand owners and manufacturers of consumer products, rely on rose plastic's packaging solutions. rose plastic invents, develops, and designs all industrial products itself, including the tools required for production.
The company employs 800 people at ten locations worldwide – half of them at its headquarters in Hergensweiler on Lake Constance. Fifty percent of global production is handled by the German facility. In addition to 12,000 square meters of production space, the site also houses the administration and warehouse. In 2021, rose plastic AG decided to outsource the testing of its operating equipment to a service provider. Piepenbrock carried out a trial test in Hergensweiler and scored highly: since then, the partners have enjoyed a trusting working relationship that has grown steadily since the start of the contract.
