Power4re - Integrated moisture measurement system in inverters - Fraunhofer IZM
The inverters used for grid feed-in in solar parks and frequency converters in wind turbines are exposed to particularly challenging operating and environmental conditions. In power4re, material, process and structural optimizations as well as protection concepts for inverter components were developed. A unique field database from wind energy applications, fault components and access to photovoltaic and wind energy systems for field measurements were available for this purpose.
