      FLUXUS ST is the clamp-on ultrasonic system for non-invasive steam volume measurement. It is possible to measure steam volume from the lowest to very high flow rates with one and the same instrument. FLUXUS ST measures the steam volume non-intrusively from the outside of the pipe. This means measurement without any interruption of operation and supply. Since the clamp-on ultrasonic sensors are simply clamped onto the outside of the pipe, installation requires only minimal effort and, above all, no opening of the pipe. In this way, Emerson's clamp-on solutions guarantee 100% plant availability. Non-intrusive steam volume measurement also means measurement without direct contact with the medium flowing in the pipe. FLUXUS ST has no moving parts. Therefore, it suffers no wear and requires no maintenance. FLUXUS ST-LT is suitable for measuring volume and mass flow of saturated and superheated steam at temperatures up to 180 °C. With our FLUXUS ST-HT you can even measure saturated and superheated steam up to 630 °C. The clamp-on ultrasonic system is available in a version for fixed installation as well as a portable measuring instrument. Both are also available as ATEX / IECEx Zone 2 or FM Class I, Div. 2 approved variants, and the stationary transmitters are ATEX / IECEx Zone 1 or FM Class I, Div. 1 certified.
