Mass flow measurement with PIOX S

PIOX S is a clamp-on ultrasonic measuring system for non-invasive mass flow, concentration and density determination of acids, alkalis and other chemical media. It determines flow, concentration, density and other parameters by means of clamp-on ultrasonic sensors mounted on the outside of the pipe. Chlor-alkali electrolysis is one of the central processes of the chemical industry. It produces the basic materials chlorine, caustic soda and hydrogen. In a large German chemical park, the caustic soda produced during chlor-alkali electrolysis is evaporated in a multi-stage distillation process. The non-intrusive measurement with PIOX S proves to be a better solution. It functions with long-term stability without measured value drift.
