The maintenance-free factory (M2F) is a concept for trouble-free production and the transformation of maintenance into a value-adding partner in the company.
Building on last year’s presentation (Maintenance-free factory: A holistic approach to creating sustainable production systems, Lisa Greimel, Fraunhofer Austria), this year we will show how the measures outlined in the core elements of the maintenance-free factory can work in practice using the example of maintenance planning.
In close collaboration between Fraunhofer Austria, Fraunhofer IML and Fraunhofer IAO, the concept was developed further and various methods were developed.
