Use SAP Maintenance easily and on the go: argvis; Maintenance Portal for SAP PM available as an app and web application

The Walldorf-based company is launching the argvis; Maintenance Portal (aMP) at maintenance 2022 in Dortmund (Hall 4 – Booth A 27), a new portal application for PC users and mobile maintenance technicians who manage their maintenance with SAP PM / SAP EAM. Its core feature is an easy-to-use interface with self-explanatory, streamlined input screens. "With the argvis; Maintenance Portal, we have essentially transformed a complete change of perspective into a user-friendly app and web application," explains argvis; Sales Manager Frank Ostwald. "The portal reflects the daily challenges and workflows of maintenance technicians, work planners, dispatchers, etc. The fact that the SAP system is and remains the central data source is essentially irrelevant for portal users – whether using the web or app." Offers solutions: argvis; Maintenance Portal (aMP). The aMP is the simple alternative to the SAP GUI: Maintenance technicians can intuitively record reports, create and edit orders in the dashboard (monitor view). They have access to all functional locations and equipment. The SAP PM module administrator or work planner assigns orders to individual technicians or teams in the portal via drag and drop. All entries in the dashboard appear simultaneously in SAP PM and on the technicians' mobile devices. Maintenance technicians are informed of new orders via push notification. Furthermore, as a new solution for SAP maintenance, the aMP includes additional apps such as geo-map integration for easy location of mobile technicians, technical objects, and deployments, as well as sensor integration for monitoring machines and systems in real time. aMP also features proven in practice, such as the cockpit for maintenance key performance indicators and a chat function.
