Perlen Papier was able to optimize its maintenance processes based on SAP PM by implementing the portal. Previously, a few isolated processes were streamlined, resulting in standardized processes for all areas of plant maintenance. The argvis; Maintenance Portal functions as a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), featuring a smart on-screen interface and a user-friendly, intuitive mobile maintenance solution. The portal serves as a central maintenance management system, mapping the main processes of notifications, order management, planning, inspections, and revision management. The project was implemented in four months in 2022, and today nearly 200 users in maintenance, production, and procurement utilize the application. For Perlen Papier AG, the highlights of the portal application include vehicle fleet management, inspection tours, cockpit KPI data from SAP BW, revisions, deployment planning via a drag-and-drop planning board, the information board, and the weekly planning of individual teams with a commitment function for agile maintenance.
