Membrain GmbH, innovative IoT platform provider and software manufacturer for the development of business apps and standard SAP modules, is presenting the new solution for mobile maintenance at maintenance 2024. The usability of the app was further improved and new useful features were added.
The sleek design of the application has been complemented with new filters for easier work. These can now also be saved individually in personal profiles, thus providing a detailed view of relevant information. It is also now possible to release certain things via the app.

In order to overcome current maintenance challenges, maintenance workers need powerful tools that support them in their daily tasks, provide relevant information and carry out tedious and time-consuming documentation work in the background.

• Mobile availability of documents (plans, instructions)
• Planning of resources (with the new scheduling tool)

Real-time data is indispensable in manufacturing companies. Continuous monitoring of live machine data guarantees high machine availability and is the basis for predictive maintenance. In the showcase, the temperature of equipment is monitored using a sensor. If this exceeds a defined threshold, a message is created directly and automatically in real time in SAP using the Membrain IoT Suite. The Membrain IoT Suite makes it possible to define IoT scenarios including “if-then conditions” easily and without IT resources. The push notifications are sent directly to the maintenance worker’s mobile device.
