Typical use cases for the vibration diagnostic service on drivetrains are intermittent monitoring of important drivetrains as well as troubleshooting when irregularities cannot be localized otherwise.

With the help of vibration diagnostics, damage to gear stages, rolling bearings, shafts and couplings as well as imbalance and alignment errors are reliably detected. Our service begins with multi-channel, high-frequency recording of the vibrations on the surface of the drive housing. For this purpose, vibration sensors are attached using permanent magnets. The speed is also recorded.

As a rule, order spectra and envelope order spectra are then formed in the office. These are examined for patterns typical of damage. Ultimately, the diagnostic results are summarized in a report.
