The SMS-R1 is a fast, easy-to-use sign and label printer. It offers a wealth of time- and cost-saving features. The printer can print up to 14 different colors and cut out any shape. This makes the SMS-R1 a cost-saving production tool and a unique “on-demand solution” with almost unlimited applications. Depending on your needs and intended use, you can produce a colored sign or label, any number of duplicates, or even several different signs or labels in a single, fast, reliable process.

The SMS-R1 is designed for efficiency and compliance with standards:
• Printing method and resolution: Thermal transfer printing with a sharp resolution of 300 dpi for excellent legibility of text, symbols, and barcodes (including 2D codes).
• Multicolor printing: The system processes up to 14 different colors, which is essential for visually effective and standard-compliant safety and warning labels (e.g., ISO 7010, GHS/CLP).
• Integrated cutting function: The built-in cutting plotter allows labels and signs to be cut to any freeform shape (max. 105 mm wide) . This eliminates the need for pre-cut materials and maximizes design flexibility.
• Automated material handling: Auto-Feed™ technology ensures automatic loading of ribbon rolls and recognizes material and ribbon type, reducing manual calibration and errors.
• Cost savings: A ribbon-saving function optimizes ribbon consumption by minimizing feed.
• Operation and interfaces: Control via a full-color touchscreen. The printer is network-compatible (LAN) and has a USB interface for easy integration into IT infrastructures.
