SIPREMA Core is a compact, fully autonomous solution for acoustic condition monitoring of machines and plants. It is designed for users who want to detect changes in machine condition at an early stage—without additional configuration effort, training, or ongoing system maintenance.
SIPREMA Core continuously captures the sound of a machine and automatically detects acoustic anomalies. These anomalies are not individually evaluated or classified; instead, they are analyzed statistically. Based on the frequency and accumulation of anomalies over time, the system calculates an anomaly index ranging from 0 to 100. This index provides a condensed representation of the current condition of the machine.
After installation, SIPREMA Core learns the normal acoustic behavior of the machine over a defined period—typically seven days. Based on this learning phase, the system automatically proposes a threshold value for alarming. The user can adjust this threshold if required. When the threshold is exceeded, an alarm is triggered.
SIPREMA Core deliberately operates with only a single alarm criterion and completely eliminates the need for manual feedback, classification, or user-driven training. This results in a true plug-and-play product: install it, let it learn, and it automatically becomes operational.
The benefit lies in the simple and reliable early detection of condition changes. As the number of anomalies increases, the index rises—indicating a deterioration in machine condition. In many applications, a clear correlation can be observed between this index and actual machine availability.
Note:
If you want to not only detect acoustic anomalies but also classify, evaluate, and document them systematically over time, SIPREMA Pro offers extended functionality.
