We use a flexibly adaptable software framework (ITWM Profiler) to construct a status from signals from the control system and other sensors and analyze it for trends and anomalies. Evaluated statuses are transmitted as health indices to dashboards, monitors, or ticket systems via established IoT protocols (e.g., OPC/UA).
Only free/open source software (Grafana, Node-Red, Maria DB, Python) is used, which can be installed on all industrially usable PCs.
