Putsch® K11 depth filter cartridges are manufactured under strictly controlled conditions using a special process. The microfibers used are exceptionally uniform and are thermally bonded to form a homogeneous filter layer. The K11 depth filter cartridge, with its micro-polypropylene filter matrix, is considered the most effective depth filter cartridge and achieves the highest efficiency in filtering even the most difficult-to-filter fine particles.
The microfiber filter matrix is invisible to the naked eye, appearing more like a solid filter layer. Only under a microscope can the fine depth filter layer be clearly seen.
The long service life of these extremely fine filter cartridges is achieved through the pleating of the thin filter medium, which creates a particularly large filter surface area.
The deep filter cartridges of type “K11” with all their advantages are mainly used for fully demineralized ultrapure water, for luxury goods and food products, for cosmetics or for ultrapure chemicals in the semiconductor industry.
