Inspection of ladders and steps

Inspection of ladders and steps in accordance with the BetrSichV and DGUV Information 208-016

In the event of an accident, companies must be able to prove that they have fulfilled their obligations regarding the safe use of ladders and stepladders. A professionally conducted and verifiably documented ladder inspection provides an important basis for this.

The DPG conducts the inspection of ladders and stepladders in accordance with DGUV Information 208-016 and documents the results in a detailed inspection report. This report includes, among other things, the date, type, location, and subject of the inspection, the inspection results, any defects found, and the assessment of further use.

This provides you with verifiable proof of the inspection performed and creates a reliable basis for your company's documentation.

A reliable inspection of ladders and stepladders requires expertise, experience, and a meticulous inspection process. Therefore, our ladder inspections are carried out exclusively by qualified specialists in accordance with TRBS 1203.

Through regular training and professional development, our testing technicians keep their expertise up-to-date. This ensures that your ladders and steps are inspected professionally and thoroughly, and that the test results are documented transparently.

The documentation of the test results is legally compliant and adheres to standards via our DPG Testing App. The test results can be accessed at any time via our user-friendly customer portal or our mobile DPG Quick Check App.
