Multi-parameter measurements create the technical possibility of detecting changes in system behavior at an early stage. With the help of suitable sensor components for recording operating states, a multi-sensor subsystem is created which provides the necessary information to describe the operating state of the machine. The sensor gateway described here is able to connect a wide variety of sensors for condition monitoring applications and process the data in real time. Complex analyses or extensive AI algorithms can be implemented with high performance using a powerful coprocessor. The integration of analog interfaces, which is usually missing, is ensured by a special microcontroller. Broadband network interfaces are available for data communication and interfaces to various systems.
