Comfort and efficiency in focus

Installation friendliness was the top priority in the development of the small distribution boards AK 24 and AK 36. The screwless PE and N terminal with lever operation, known from Spelsberg’s premium distributors AK Air 14 – 70, is now also installed in the compact AK 24 and AK 36. The slightly larger enclosure dimensions of the AK compact series were used by the developers for extended installation space inside the distributor. Lateral wiring space and more room under the DIN rails, which can also be removed without tools, simplify cable routing and internal wiring. 3- and 5-pole 6mm² WAGO 221 lever terminals can be inserted into special terminal pockets in the distributor base plates. This allows the supply line to be easily and efficiently divided onto multiple RCDs. This ensures maximum clarity and efficient working.

A lateral stop on the DIN rail and markings on the DIN rail for installing modular devices complete the concept and ensure that the cover can be precisely and easily mounted.

The small distribution boards were also optimized from the outside: The newly designed ergonomic hinged window facilitates opening and closing. Instead of a complex screw connection between enclosure and cover, it is now mounted with quick-release screws where a 90° turn creates a secure connection.
