Since successfully completing its second financing round at the end of 2024 with over USD 4 million, the Herford-based B2B tech startup findIQ has been on a path to internationalization. With its AI-based software for service knowledge, the East Westphalian company has gained its first customers in the USA, among other places, and is present locally with its own team and a new corporate identity.
Founded in 2022, the software developer findIQ from the industrial region of East Westphalia-Lippe (OWL) in Germany has captured the spirit of the times with its unique approach of a knowledge platform for machine service based on artificial intelligence (AI): Industrial companies from a wide range of sectors have shown great interest in the “Digital Service Expert” since its founding. The successes these companies have enjoyed using the app have led to a global rollout in many locations.
In line with the increasing number of customers, the size of the international findIQ team is also growing. findIQ is firmly pursuing the goal of becoming the quality leader in knowledge transfer in machine service. “In the third quarter of the current fiscal year alone, we acquired as many new customers as we did in the entire year of 2024,” reports Sina Volkmann, CEO and co-founder of findIQ. “We were also able to increase revenue from our existing customers by 50%.” This clearly demonstrates that findIQ is making a name for itself in various industries and far beyond the borders of the DACH region.
