Pfleiderer Arnsberg GmbH faced numerous challenges: A wide range of recurring inspections – from fixed and mobile ladders to personal protective equipment against falls from height (PPE), lifting gear, chains, gates, fire protection equipment, and pressure vessels – had to be organized, documented, and carried out on time.
The implementation of meine-wartung.de was practical and targeted. Bernd Lüke transferred the existing folder structure into the system and assigned all equipment requiring inspection to the appropriate categories. Together with the team, PDF documents were archived and future inspection dates were entered.
A particular advantage: Many inspection items – such as ladders – were equipped with QR codes. This allows employees to access information or start inspections directly on-site using a tablet.
The goal is to equip as many pieces of equipment as possible in this way. External inspectors for fixed ladders, lifting gear, and chains will also be able to perform inspections directly within the system in the future. This eliminates manual rework and document assignment – another step towards complete digitalization.
The tool is currently used primarily by Bernd Lüke and one or two other employees, but its introduction into other departments is planned. Independence from service providers is a strong argument: all exams and appointments can be managed centrally – regardless of who conducts them.
