By using “Intelligent Deposit Protection®” the use of biocides and chemicals in cooling and product processes can be enormously reduced or even dropped to zero. In all cases the operating time can be considerably extended. Cooling towers can be operated with a minimum to zero biocide dosage even following legal requirements like the German 42nd German Emission Regulation. Process operations become more resource saving, more environmentally friendly, more sustainable and more reliable. At the same time operational safety is increased due to no longer deposit caused interruptions. Finally, the life spam is increased due to prevented biocorrosion.
