Filling made easy
The drum pump manufacturer JESSBERGER has launched a stainless steel filling machine to enable its customers a convenient and easy filling. This new development is based on the fact that numerous companies from the filling, chemical or packaging industry want to fill thin-liquid to lightly viscous media just by pushing a button from drums or containers in manually feeded containers as quickly as possible but exactly. The filling machine was specially designed for the own drum pumps. However, the use of existing pumps is also possible. In combination with a scale the machine ensures a clean, accurate and safe filling – even with foaming media.
With this new development the pump manufacturer’s technicians had to ensure a consistent repeatability as well as an absolutely needed dosing accuracy also for the future. The requirements of the EU-packaging directive are therefore fulfilled in combination with a standardized scale that is available as an option.
The filling plant has been designed user-friendly due to its ease of use. It is suitable for transferring acidic or alkalaine media from large containers into small containers, for example with a capacity of 10, 15 or 25 liters.
With the filling line many media can be dosed exactly. However no liquids should be filled with a flame point below 55 ° C or where Stainless Steel 316Ti is not resistant.
