Intelligent test procedures for the entire material cycle: TÜV Saarland NDT Group
Testing, schools, certification. Non-destructive testing methods of the TÜV Saarland NDT Group
Non-destructive testing methods provide important information about the entire material life cycle. The field of application of non-destructive testing methods is constantly growing with the continuous development of the techniques. From material tests in production, through the use phase to recycling, NDT now covers the entire life cycle of the material. The portfolio of the TÜV Saarland NDT Group includes both: established and newly developed methods as well as the corresponding training and further education including the certification of your employees.
Quality with safety – non-destructive testing
Companies and public institutions need security. About certain material properties, but also about their degree of wear and tear during use. Within the TÜV Saarland NDT Group, you will receive this security: Competent, solution-oriented and innovative.
The companies of the NDT group provide testing services in the classical procedures:
Radiographic testing (RT)
Ultrasonic testing (UT)
Magnetic particle testing (MT)
Dye penetrant testing (PT)
Visual inspection (VT)
Eddy current testing (ET)
Leak test (LT)
Mobile Hardness Testing (HT)
In addition, the experts of the TÜV Saarland NDT group are developing new test procedures together with recognized research institutes. These are mainly aimed at the industrial environment (e.g. pipeline tests) and infrastructure facilities (e.g. the patented mast tests).
Most modern qualification
The TÜV Saarland NDT Group offers NDT training in three qualification levels. So far, several thousand participants have attended the numerous events and successfully qualified for non-destructive testing methods. An essential part of the training courses are the test methods of DIN EN ISO 9712, and a variety of special topics – such as digital radiology, phased array, ToFD and infrared thermography – can also be selected.
The modern training centers in Hattingen and Munich offer participants ideal training conditions.
Qualified personnel with certificate
The employees in non-destructive testing bear a great responsibility. For the product but also for the people. It is therefore important to have qualified employees with a corresponding certificate of their know-how.
Within the TÜV Saarland NDT Group, experts in the international network qualify employees at locations in Germany, Europe, USA and Asia. The accredited programs all fulfill at least the requirements of a personnel certification according to the standards DIN EN ISO 9712, DIN ISO 18436, DIN EN ISO 9972, the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU as well as the ASME B&PV Code for an employer certification according to SNT-TC-1A and ANSI/ASNT CP-189.
